I thought this might be fun for some of our flag savvy members (which, after taking the quiz, is apparently not me.) It's tough, but I predict salmo99 will do well because a lot of the flags I was hit with were islands in the Pacific.

I'm a complete imbecile.

When it comes to flags, that is.

This game could drive me to drink.

I thought I was on to something... First flag that came up had a crescent and stars, as does Turkey's flag, but I knew it wasn't Turkey. Right below Turkey on the list is Turkmenistan. Yeah, sure, why not... it's a pretty flimsy association, but I don't have a better guess... turns out it was right. It all went downhill from there.

I think it broke for me as well, and I was all excited to try it...Will try again at home. It's just a shame that I can't waste valuable worktime on this.

I think it's either poorly written, or else my work's firewall keeps screwing it up. But since others are having problems, it's probably poorly written. It keeps resetting my score in the middle, or not displaying everything, or erroring.

I started getting a little better using the Neighbors hint. The Currency is a dead giveaway in most cases, though. Gee, what country could possibly use the Trinidad and Tobago Dollar? Hmm....

Who knew that they use the US dollar in the British Virgin Islands?

Actually, probably a lot of you knew that, now that I think about it.

A lot of the African and South Pacific ones gave me trouble.

Except Guam. Maybe the fact that the word "Guam" is right in the centre of the flag was what gave it away? Smile

Hahahahah

When I saw "flag game" the first thing I thought of was when I was out drinking with this group of girls in Vienna and we decided to "compare flags" - that is, compare which/how many countries the boys you had "conquered" represented. Then I saw that Skobb started the thread and I just had to click in and see what on earth he was talking about!! Guess I was on the wrong train of thought Razz

So, having played the game a few times, i tried clicking through with 'next flag' for all 15 flags...and scored 500 just for bonus time!

So, if your score is below 500, not knowing anything is better!

Ooh! Ooh! I got 1720 that time!

I have to admit I can't even recognize the flags from the countries I've travelled in...but I'm pretty good with capitals.
