I could only do 61. Tips for those about to play:

* Acronyms don't count, so avoid long, windy country names. E.g.: USA, UAE
* If your spelling sucks, stay away from the hard to spell countries!
* I think it is only the 'official name' that counts, so countries with multiple names really only have one.
* The clock starts ticking as soon as you hit the page!

Give it shot! http://www.justsayhi.com/bb/view2/countries

I got 90... Though I think people who type fast have a big advantage.

And yeah, you kind of have to be careful with countries whose names aren't originally in the latin alphabet. They seem to have one particular transliteration in mind, and if you don't use that one, you don't get credit (I wanted to count Tajikstan, but it insisted on Tajikistan.)

I only got 55, but then again, I only type with two fingers on each hand.

56 but spelling was a big problem for me. I gave up on like 10 countries. Just curious what order people followed? I went with North America, South America, then the easiest to spell in Europe, and Asia, and I just started Africa before I ran out of time.

I got 73, but I'm a fairly slow typist. And I blanked out at the end and just couldn't think of any more.

only 61, clocks stop my heart. I wonder how many I could do in 5 minutes if I didn't think anyone was timing me. Performance anxiety I guess.

90. Not too bad, considering the pressure of time. Fun quiz. I'll have to do this again.

Fun... but I couldn't believe after furiously typing for a while, I went totally blank!! You'd think it would be easy to just rattle off countries for 5 mins...

68 on first try, 77 on second.
