Began Gap Year Trip Six Years Ago

Ok, my evil mind came up with an evil game. Devil

Can you allocate a town/city/region you have been to, to each letter of the alphabet? And just to make it trickier: you can only use one town/city/region per country! (That prevents people having 26 towns from their home country.)

Sounds easy when you think of all the places you've ever been to. But start filling in the gaps and you realize it's not THAT simple...lots of moving around. Took me 2 hours! And at the moment I still can't think of an city with the letter X....

Here's mine:

Amsterdam, Holland
Brussels, Belgium
Chiloe (Gran Isla de), Chile
Dublin, Ireland
Edirne, Turkey
Filadelfia, Paraguay
Guanzhou, China
Hamburg, Germany
Iguazu, Brasil
Jodhpur, India
Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
Luxembourg, Luxembourg
Meteora, Greece
Nairobi, Kenya
Osh, Kyrgyzstan
Piran, Slovenia
Queenstown, New Zealand
Rawalpindi, Pakistan
Singapore, Singapore
Tokyo, Japan
Uyuni, Bolivia
Verona, Italy
Wien, Austria
X --
Yekaterinenburg, Russia
Zurich, Switzerland

The heat is on...

Respect, halfnine--have you really been to all these places?

I was briefly tempted to give it another go, but no--still no Zs and no more Xs, either.

I'm such a lightweight since I've only been to 9 countries. But I think I have been to an X, or at least outside of it, and I know I've got a Q. So I'll just concentrate on the weirder letters if I can.

Amsterdam, Nethelands
Brussels, Belgium
Cancun, Mexico
Jutiapa, Guatemala
Koblenz, Germany
Maria Alm, Austria
Prague, Czech Republic
Quebec City, Canada
Xenia, Ohio, US

The only destination that doesn't count are airport stop-overs whern you never left the airport. I barley remember Verona. I remember it was nice and romantic, went for dinner with my gf...got drunk...some recollection of neighbours in the hotel complaining about the music somewhen during the night...embarassing meeting with them at the breakfast buffet...my gf dragging me into a train...feeling sick.

Damn I love Cuba Libres....
