"The England national football team are..."

Easy eh? Right, I'll start:

"...a shower of overpaid, overfed, lazy, careless, over-rated, complacent fucktards."

Your turn...

Wow. Not only has everyone not followed the plot, but presumably, Whistler, you assume that because I live in Edinburgh I am a Scot. Tsk tsk.

(Lovely Mod people... I dont think this is actually a game btw)

I think this was actually meant to be a chance for everyone to make fun of the England football team for being utter shite and failing to qualify for the European Championships next year.

Like so...

"The England national football team are...

A bunch of over payed prima-donas who really couldnt give a stuff about the 3 lions and are more interested in how much interest they're earning than actually representing their country!"

or maybe..

"The England national football team are...

Managerless, thank God!!!"

Lets hope I've not misread RTWLs intentions now!!

LC, you are on the money. At least he's been sacked, although the same courtesy should be extended to the entire FA Board. Instead we get Barwick heading a review. Which is a CWOT.

Apologies to anyone I may have upset. It was a trying night last night Frown

...utterly irrelevant to Americans, who couldn't tell the difference between football and philately. Their psyches are instead directed toward matters of true importance, such as Dancing with the Stars.

Firstly RalphTWL, I didn't assume anything, and secondly, what has your nationality got to do with anything? BTW, as a wit once said, Never assume anything because it makes an ass out of you and me. Bow

The title of your thread is "Complete this phrase", so I started a phrase. On reading the posts today (Friday), it appears all is not what it seems.

Personally I couldn't care less about the English football team - given that I live in Australia. Now, if you were to talk about the footy - proper football-(Aussie rules), well... that'd be a different story. And the cricket, we do love our cricket. Come to think of it, wasn't it wonderful last December - Australia won 5 out of 5!!!

Have a nice day, Whistler.

English soccer is overrated like American Basketball the past few years...The name of your jersey doesn't make you the best...that is all

My first viewing of Euro Championships I get to watch Mr. David Beckham miss not 1 but 2 penalty kicks...I think I could made at least 1...England loses in the quarters

India, UAE, Africa next, follow me! I'm 24, why isn't 100 countries and 7 continents realistic in a lifetime...40 and 5 down...

... not nearly as broad-shouldered as their North American football (as in, not soccer) counterparts.
