is a town in Hungary, between Arad (Romania) and Szeged (Hungary). Been there twice; once in March 2007 and once in Aug 2007
The romanian name of that town is Macau. It is the international capital of the onion. As the matter of fact, you can see a monument in the shape of the onion in that city.

Not much of a paradise, actually. I only went there because it's where my father retired to. The only other reason to go there is the fact that the Long Trail passes through it.

A Cree village on the shores of Lake Opemisca. The name means "crossed by rivers" in Cree.

Historically, this place has been easier to get into than out of.

Anegada, BVI- we took an incredible sailing vaction to BVI a few years ago. The sail from Totola to Anegada is wonderful but this was probably the most difficult anchorage we've ever sailed into-heavy reefs and missing buoys.

Last summer we went there for a family reunion and some of my wife's uncles were making fresh ricotta; unfortunately, we had to leave before it was ready.

New Orleans-pre-Katrina- I've spent a few vacations there several years ago and had planned to go the month that Katrina hit- guess I'll wait for a while.

Nha Trang, Vietnam. I was there January '08 A Puerto Vallarta wanna be. Huge water park on the beach...islands to explore, parasailing, banana boats. Totally over rated. Go to the real thing in Mexico!
Known locally as the "City of Sunshine," a nickname it shares with Debrecen.

Founded in the 1640s, it's one of the older neighborhoods in the USA. It's also the former home of Marty and HaciRichard.
