Hey Joe, 5 posts in one day, not bad. Does this mean that there will be no blog? and there will just be this forum? Anyway, when I need to know about tents and all I shall pay a visit here Smile

The blog is on a brief respite while I settle into my new job. It will be back, and I am always looking for topics to write about.

Sorry, this is off topic, but how do you do a link like that "look at Travel gear blog" where the sentence brings you to the relating link?

Just for future reference Smile

Well, it's easy. Even I can do it.

After you hit "reply", you will notice some squares above the white box. There's a oh-so-cute smiley face, next there is one that says URL. (URL is a technical term and means "Earl", named after the guy who invented it).

Anyway, clickety-click on that. If you have been good, two boxes will pop up. One that you paste the URL (or Earl) of your choice, and the one just below that you type in something crude, like this.

After you have that, you buy me a slice of pizza.

Actually Joe, I'll have to pull you up on that technical description.

Earl wasn't the guy that invented the URL, but the acronym for 'Easy Address Realisation Listing'. They just called it 'URL' coz is sounded good...

Dusty!

How can we misinform the masses when you come out with something that could be close to the truth?

I suppose they would have found out eventually... Oh, well. Back to the drawing board.

Joe, Joe! That EARL thing. Shame on you!

We newbies respect your great wisdom and integrity and look to you for accurate, technical advice - and look how you repay us. Deceit, misdirection, baloney.

Are you aware that Ehrlich is German for HONEST. Do try to live up to your name and honour the great trust that is placed in you daily.

How would it be if you told someone to take the Number 5 bus from Central Park to get to Timbuktoo ... and they did it and drowned??? How would you feel then??

Cheers from Oz,
Yamba
