Hello!

I am travelling to Guatemala in February and I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations for a good backpack. I am looking for something around 50L and has to be tough and durable. Much like how sometimes your eyes are too big for your stomach, my last backpack was a 75 L and boy was that a mistake! Haha, I think I could have fit inside of it! I was looking at the Osprey Talon 44 but I read reports about how some clasps broke easily and the fabric was flimsy. If anyone got some suggestions for a nice tough lil backpack, I would love to hear Smile

Please ignore those reports. Osprey makes among the best packs in the business and they use the same high quality buckles and fabrics as all the other top-tier manufacturers. (I work for one of their competitors)

I prefer Gregory or EagleCreek. In fact I was surprised how nice Eagle Creek's Switchback was when I tried it first time. It is pretty good for city hiking :-)
All my normal backpacks for hiking/mountaineering and such are from Gregory, and truly love them.

Gregory Z55, Osprey Atmos and so on .... they all are neat backpacks!
