Do many internet cafes have i-tunes installed on their computers so I can download songs/video on the road? Will it work if I just plug in my I-pod to it?

Lots do, plenty do not. While music is a very important part of my life, I accept that while on the road, I can't get new stuff (Actually I reliably can now with my iPhone + wifi, but still do not for the following reason) but I never do. When I am traveling, I am busy seeing and doing things which I cannot do at home. The last thing on my mind is finding new music or shows from home. When I do fire up the music, it's to find something familiar.

I'm sorry as I barely answered your question before going off on a tangent. Your answer is that yeah, they do exist, plentifully in Europe, and it's probably safe in that you do not enter any card info to get into iTunes.
