Knows What a Schengen Visa Is
Posted
I just returned from a two week trip and will post a travelogue once I recover but wanted to pass on some information for those leaving soon-

First although there was lodging available on Little Corn, if you want to stay in a specific lodging or area you should probably reserve ahead of time. The only one of the small cabins on the eastside that was available when we got there was one at Gracies which faced the wrong way to get much breeze. Casa Iguana's cabins were booked solid.

People looking for lodging in El Rama prior to taking the panga in the morning- We stayed at the Eco Hotel El Vivero $25 double with Private Bath and AC-beautiful setting, good food, quiet and 1 km west of town.

We missed the 5am and 6am panga and waited until 10:30 for the 7am panga to fill. Get there early.

We also stayed at the Nicaragua Guest House in Managua- area Bello Horizonte. $9 and 20 minutes to airport. Quiet neighborhood- walking distance(and safety) to a mall with a super mercardo, banks as well as standard mall fare and a food court. Internet right around the corner- $30 double with AC.

More later but wanted to pass those tips on.
