I've been reading that the rainy season is pretty bad this year. How bad is it? I was there in the rainy season a few years ago and i just rained a couple hours in the afternoon but was nice the rest of the time.

I am having a wedding in Guancaste in 3 weeks then planning to travel all over for 2 weeks afterwards. Can anyone give me any imput who is there right now?

Well, I'm looking out my window right now here in central Costa Rica. It's going to rain.

However, it was a beautiful morning. Sunny and hot with some overcast.

I think you can expect this year to be similar to your experience. It'll rain in the pm and be warm and sunny in the am. Remember tho' that we can get weather systems that move in and we get solid rain for a few days. The worst we've seen is non-stop rain for four days.
