I did a trip about 5 years ago down the Rio Sarapiqui in Costa Rica. As I recall there are several outfits in La Virgen that do rafting and river kayaking. I can't remember the name of the company I went with, but they did several one day trips on the Saraqiqui and other rivers in the northern part of Costa Rica.
