Does anyone have experience with the yachtie scene in Belize? Specifically, where would I hang out if I were to try to volunteer as crew on a boat heading to the U.S.? I am not familiar with Belize at all. In many countries, there is a definite port that oceangoing yachties arrive and depart from, and they are often looking for crew.

Somewhere along the way, I heard Cay Caulker. I think it was actually in a sailing magazine, so I'll go on the hunt through my friend's backissues. English dominates as the langua franca, so it shouldn't be a problem to just approach boats at anchor and throughout the marina to see what you can find.
