Can anybody give me advice on getting between Costa Rica and Nicaragua?
We are renting a car in San Jose and making our way up to Liberia to drop the car off. Then from Liberia I believe we can take a bus (Tica Bus, anyone?) to Managua. The problem is that we don't want to get to Managua right away - maybe check out San Juan del Sur or some place along the way. So basically, is there a way to get from Liberia to San Juan del Sur on as little buses/taxis as possible? Gracias para ayudar! |

There is a first class bus service, "Nica-bus" that runs from Liberia to Granada, about $15-20.
