We will be bicycling through Central America with our 10-year-old twin boys next year. I'm wondering what places you would say we should try to get to for sure. As we cycle through the region we will find a lot of little hidden places, but sometimes there are others that we don't know about and will not plot a route near them. So - if you were traveling through, what places from Mexico to Panama would you consider "must-see's"?

thanks!
Nancy

Felix has some great suggestions.

Cycling to the Bay Islands might be a little difficult, though. Smile

Thanks Felix! I'll be sure to mark those places on our map. I was a Peace Corps Volunteer in Honduras years and years ago, but haven't been back to the region since 1987. I'm looking forward to getting reacquainted!

Thanks Roque! We aren't sure what our route is yet, but I'll mark those on my map and hopefully get there.
