I haven't made this bridge climb so perhaps I'm in no position to judge, but I do know Brisbane fairly well and I drive over the Storey bridge fairly often and the thought of climbing it does not particularly excite me.
If bridge climbing's your thing might I suggest that you hold out for the Sydney Harbour Bridge climb which is spectacular if somewhat expensive. |

Very expensive for very little.
If architecture gets you off then it may well be worth it but if it's a Brisbane view you want to see, head to Mt Coot-tha or climb to the top of floor the Royal Brisbane Hospital - both free. |

Always wondered. Does anyone know what James meant by "km"? I can only think of kilometre, or maybe kimosavee, but neither seems to make much sense. Perhaps Jim himself doesn't make too much sense?

It's actually spelt Mt "Cootha"
Here's the website for the bridge climb: http://www.storybridgeadventureclimb.com.au/ http://storybridgeadventureclimb.com.au/download/storybridge_1min.mov |

...And the debate is on!! If memory serves, the roadsigns around here are spelt "Mt Coot-tha". Any more questions, please see here. |

Interesting, Mim
http://wikimapia.org/20692/ Wiki contradicts itself. It's 'Cootha' in the above link, but 'Coot-tha' in the Wikipedia link. 'Cootha' is closer to the aboriginal word 'ku-ta' (wild honey), which the 'mountain' (or hill) is named after. I use to live at Toowong, btw. Mainly brought up the spelling, as the banned poster 'Crikey' doesn't live / hasn't lived in, (or anywhere near) Brisbane. Cheers! |

The bridge climb doesn't look boring to me! Try Charleville, for 'boring'.
