I would like to visit the Arabian Peninsula this December, but as a single female, would like to find a few travel buddies to go with. I was hoping to go either the week before Christmas (Dec 15-Dec22) or the week after Christmas (Dec 29-Jan 6). Both dates are flexible. I am particularly interested in going to Oman, but am also interested in Yemen, UAE, and/or up to Jordan.

I'm a 24 year old American who is currently living in London. I've done moderate backpacking through India, Nepal and Costa Rica, and have traveled extensively through west and eastern Europe. I've heard that Oman is a great place to rent a car and go off the beaten path. I would like to leave Muscat and see the desert and the rest of the country for all it is worth. Additionally, I know Oman is perhaps one of the best places in the world for true desert camping, which I may be interested for a night or two during the trip.

I'm very laid back and like to do as much adventure / cultural stuff as possible. If you are interested in joining me, post a reply and we can discuss what we both are looking for out of the trip. I am open to traveling with either men or women, and perhaps we may be able to get a group of 3 or 4 people together.

I am currently in Turkey but headed to Iran the beginning of December and then will be visiting the Arabian Peninsula, Jordan, etc. near the end of December and into January.
