Hey all!!
I'm planning a RTW trip starting in September 2008 for a year. I want to see US, central and south America, Europe, and western Canada. This trip will be done on a tight budget (camping, buses, hostels) but I don't really have a set itinerary and I would be willing to change it if someone has a similar plan. All I really know is that I want to experience the great outdoors and all of the interesting cultures. I'm a 19 y/o university student taking a year off. If anyone (close to my age) is up for a trip like this or if you have similar plans let me know. Thanks!

Around how much are you willing to take with you and how much will it cost around

I am only taking with me what I can carry on my back. I'll be on a tight budget for one year (with a couple of flights in there) so hopefully it won't cost more than 8 or 9 thousand, but that a very rough estimate. Where you planning a similar trip?

Hi I'd love to travel the world but I was thinking the other way. Like Australia to Sotheast Asia then to Europe. I do know some people in other countries and I did live in Australia for four months before. I'm 22 and a college graduate on a budget as well. Let me know!
