Need to use up my freq flyer points. Anyone in West Europe in the second half of October? I am thinking of Croatia and south Italy or Spain. It would be about 10 - 14 days trip. Asian female, well travlled and quite independent but just don't want to be awestruck with the sights without anyone to share any words with.

I can travel backpacking style or join a tour if that saves time.

I will be in Northern Italy around then, and plan on going down to Croatia shortly after.


My plan right now (from Berlin, where I am now):
Oktoberfest at end of Sept
Vienna for a week or so
Venice for a week or so
Croatia after that


edit: Plan on staying in hostels or inexpensive hotels.

Thanks for your replies. The plan taking shape now is Spain / Portugal - a relative of mine will join me on the trip and I will probaly have a few days on my own to roam about before she arrives.
