Holds PhD in Packing
Posted
Not sure if this is the right forum but I was curious to know if anyone has been able to find a decent language class in or near Seoul. I'm teaching english here and I really want to start taking some classes to work on my Korean. I'm pretty serious about trying to learn. Anyone who has taken or has any information if you could please pass it along that would be great.

A Shawshank Redemption fan, I see! To make life easy, go to a 'Kyobo' or 'Banda & Luni' bookstore in Seoul, & pick up a 'Berlitz' guide to Korean, or one of the other competing guides. I've been living in Korea for 2 years now, and I got by that way. I don't know where you'd go for formal classes. Try joining / posting on Daves ESL Cafe Korean Branch.

The Hangul Alphabet is easy to learn. There are only about 14 consonants / 10 vowels:
