I don't know the addresses. I tell my relatives to use the generic 'main post office' line.
Spaceturkey As for how long its takes. Often depends upon how long your local PO takes to get it out. I'm thinking 2-3 to be safe. |

The generic "GPO" instead of "Main Post Office" also works well in Asia. Be careful, though, as sometimes poste restante mail can end up at a different building, Delhi being a case in point.
From the US, I would estimate three weeks for post to get to SE Asia, four weeks to India. This is conservative, but it's better to have letters waiting for two weeks than to miss them by two days. Don't have *anything* of value sent to India, otherwise you'll never see it. Save things like that for Bangkok. |

I found that American Express offices to be the best places to use as post restante. I think you need to have travellers cheques from Amex but no min amount. It was always less hassle & less crowded that post offices. You can get a list of offices from Amex
