I'm going to Singapore in July for 3 - 4 days. I'm wondering if anyone has done a day trip to Malaysia while staying in Singapore. If so, any deets on how long t will take, where to go, good/bad idea, etc?
It's just so close and I haven't been to Malaysia. Yet. |

If all you want to do is go into another country, you can take a ferry to Indonesia in the morning come back and go to Johor Baru, Malaysia in the afternoon. The train to Malaysia takes about five minutes from Singapore.
If you make it a long day, you can probably arrange a bus to Melaka (much more interesting than Johor Baru) and come back at night. |
