Okay it has been awhile since I have posted, but since I only started my trip last month and have only been to Koh Tao there wasn't much to report. However yesterday I did have to make a Visa Run. Since I only came in on a 30 day tourist Visa, I was torn between going to Malaysia or Myanmar! I wasn't looking forward at the thought of going to Myanmar, but the cost of the train down to Malaysia the night or more of accomadations and food made Myanmar the logical choice. It is a very simple process for those on the Gulf of Thailand side. So simple that it was only 1900 Baht, which included all transportation and visa. They have someone go with you and show you were to go, what to fill out, etc. It only took 18 hours round trip from Koh Tao. Anyway just thought I would share!

I've also done this Visa run, i was in Ranong, so the Visa run only took 2hrs round trip. For anybody looking for more information on this I stayed at the Kiwi Orchid Guest House, and they helped with EVERYTHING. Exrtemely nice people, they treated me like family, and helped me get some great deals for other Thai destinations. The owner Jai, seems to have connections all over the country. And also the Islands near Ranong, are pristine,and untouched.....but shhhh!!!! don't tell anyone
