Any advice on where to stay.. I looking for a cheap place to stay in Phonem Penh and Siem Reep. |

In Phnom Penh, I always (three different trips) stay at Dara Reang Sey, a family-run place that always looks after me.

I have stayed at no. 9's little sister in Phnom Phen which is situated on the lake at Boeng Kak, a very pleasant guest house.

I spent a month in PP this past year. I stayed at the Golden Sun (near the Golden Gate Hotel). For $13 I had a room with a kitchen, balcony, hot shower, and free daily laundry. If you want to be out late you should consider going somewhere else. One time I returned at 11 and I had to wakeup the house girl to let me in the front door.
