Is is feasible to get our China, Vietnam and India visas during a stay in Bangkok? I'm guessing we would need to do them all one at a time unless someone knows of a place that can do all three together.

Also, is this a smart way of getting them, or should we just get the Vietnam one first, then get China while in Vietnam and then India while in China?

Do we need to have exact dates of travel for the visas? We're pretty much winging it, so we don't have exact dates...just estimates.

Vietnam likes dates.

The Chinese visa was easy to get and the embassy pretty efficient but for vietnam, go to a tourist shop. They will get it done quicker and with a lot less hassle.

The Chinese visa is not so easy to get anymore. You will need to go through an agency to get it,and you might need to show return flights and accommodation proof.

Also,if you are going to Vietnam, then you can get a Chinese visa in Ho Chi Minh City.

From India, you would need to fly to get into China (or vice versa - no land route with Tibet closed).

If you are going from China to Vietnam, you can get a Vietnamese visa in Kunming.

Indian visas can be got in China in Beijing and Hong Kong.

Just remember with the Chinese Visa it is from date of issue so if you only have the 30 day one it dosn't give you much time. The single entry are the easiest ones to get. We got our through a travel agent in Hanoi $65 express service and flew the same day into China.
