Our friends will be travelling with us and we feel compelled to have accom sorted for them!

I don't have the email, unfortunately. But I stayed there last October for few nights, their Amok is pretty tasty. They have plenty of rooms in the main house, and they also own a property across the street. I don't see it being a problem getting a room, when are you planning to be there?

Also, not helpful as far as your question was concerned, but 310 Guest house (on 310 road of course ) was pretty cheap (10$ USD for an AC room with TV and free water and towels, etc) and was a bit out of the touristy area, close to lucky supermarket, and within walking distance from most places.

We just left Phnom Penh actually, a day ago.

We'll be there at the end of December. Two families - one with one child, and us with our eight. Hence the probable need to book ahead. Our friends haven't been to Asia before so we don't want to spend time wandering round town looking for somewhere to stay.
