We are doing a RTW and will be doing 2 months in Africa ending in Egypt and then travelling to India for a month. We are looking for a beach or island to relax on for about 5-7 days with a comfortable room. Something to break up the hectic travelling and just relax. Any suggestions on maybe an island or beach in India or somewhere in between Egypt and India that would not be super expensive but would be decent accommodations, and some sand to chill on? We thought Dubai, but heard it is crazy expensive.

Any thoughts, advice or reccommendations will be appreciated. Thanks alot, Stouds.

What season? The small towns in the Sinai along the Red Sea would fit the bill perfectly. They would be especially nice after dealing with all the challenges of traveling along the Nile.

Or if you keep going, the Mediterranean beaches in Turkey are fantastic.

It would be around August 1. I have done some research and thought about flying into Goa, India instead of Delhi from Egypt. They seem to have good beaches there, and then we could work our way through India. Do you have the names of the beaches you are talking about, I will do some research, or if you have any links that would be awesome.
