I'm traveling to Bancock Thailand in June. I will spend some time there and then fly to Phnom Pehn, Cambodia. I have about a week in Cambodia and then I will take boat, or bus to Ho Chi Mihn, Vietnam. From there I am planning on traveling up the coast for about a week. I am interested in photographing people, villages, temples and the landscape. Do you have any "can't miss" spots from that part of the world. I don't mind traveling off the beaten path.

Hi,

Bangkok (this how it is spelled), and other provinces of Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam and Laos have lots of photography subjects whether portraits, landscape and the people. Taking the train, road and boats is the best way of capturing it close up. However, June could be slightly wet but it should not bother your photography because the rain is not the torrential type. More like drizzling and a bit gloomy.

Home stay host to travelers of the world. Be a traveler not a tourist.

temples in Cambodia

There are two great complexes of ancient temples in Southeast Asia, one at Bagan in Burma, the other at Angkor in Cambodia.
You can check Angkor temple's photos from here:http://www.thevisualrecord.com/dbphotopages/thumbnailpage.php?trip=cambodia05

There are tons of temple sites in Cambodia beyond Angkor. Consider a dirtbiking trip to isolated Preah Vihear on the Thai border.
