We want to go to Tibet ( Lahsa and bear Lhasa ) in May 2002.To go to Tibet we
decided to follow this way : Hong
Kong => Chengdu => Lhasa.
We’d like to travel by ourselves but this is a big
problem.
We can obtain easily a visa for China so this isn’t a
problem, but to go to Tibet we need a special travel
permit ( ATP or TTB ) too.
Chinese government don’t allow tourists to go to
Tibet in a indipendent way.
To obtain this permit we must travel in a group of 5
or more people and buy e tour which usually includes
a one-way ticket to Lhasa , the trasfer to airport and
2 nights in hotel. The fact that members of the tour
group have never seen each other prior to the flight
and split immediately after is overlooked by ther
authorities.
So we are looking for other 3 people to organize this travel.
