so i was supposed to begin my journey at the end of this month, however, the powers that be seemed to have no care for my plans. randomly, and unexpectedly, i met someone, and she's amazing... the bad news is my travels may be postponed for a while. the good news is that she wants to travel too! so yea, until then, thanks for all the help/advice BnA people's.

to add some fiber to this thread, has anyone else's plans ever been thrown off by such unexpectancies?

happened to me to just 1 week before i came here but unfortunately didn't turn out so good...met a guy na d a really felt we connected. went on a few dates and talked during hours and hours...
i still left to come here bc i already had a job and i am glad i did. because he, after telling me we will be in touch and all the bla bla, turned out to be a real asshole. he never called or sent me an email since i have left and i am so damn glad i didn't cancel my plans because of him.

but i am glad for you and if it feels right to cancel the trip now it is right to do so.
