Hi

Just wondering if anyone has done this program? Or stayed there?

Thanks,

Marie

Hi Everyone,

I just wanted you'all to know that I went through the 1 month program and DO NOT recommend it.

The Yoga was physically dangerous (according to my body and to a great Certified Yoga instructor who was also taking the class), their lessons were nothing but '1800s parlor tricks', and the place was, in general, a money making scheme for one guru-esk local.

There are better places in the world to work on your inner life.

So I guess you would call it a "pyramid scheme".

What are you doing now for personal and spiritual growth?

Well, I just finished (as of today Frown ) a 18 month RTW trip, which included a couple of stops in the US to dump my gifts and hug my family before I was off again. I've been re-reading much of my +200 page diary and reflecting on 'where' I was on that particular day.

I plan to get heavily into yoga when I get back. I took a couple of months of Iyengar style classes and LOVE it. I've yet to find anything else that works your spiritual and physical self at the same time. (Sports are fun, but they allow little time for reflection.)

I've also been reading 'Please Understand Me II: temperment, character, and intelligence' which has been very interesting and helpful for my eventual reentry into the 'real world'. It isn't an easy book to read (very theoretical), but the more I reflect on it and the people I've met along the way, I'm realizing it is valid.

OH, and I'm also reading some books on Buddhism that I was given in Thailand. 'This too shall pass' seems to be the theme and I look forward to reading more books on Buddhism as well as Native American Spirituality.

Any suggestions for me?

My only advise, as always, is Seek and you will find!

If you have individual areas you would like to discuss, just start a new topic or add to an ongoing discussion.

In a post to oldhippy you mentioned the terms: "good and evil".
Have you studied "the duality" found in life yet?

Any assist I can offer, is yours for the asking!

Via Con Dios!
