I am about to take a year trip to asia. I will be in India, China, Thailand, and Nam. While there is it possible for me to really learn some of the religious practises there? How does one go about studying Hinduism practises or Eastern thought? Who make the best teachers for that sort of thing? Is it possible to stay in monestaries or is that Hollywood stuff?
