Occasionally the last couple years I have pondered, how much easier it would be going down this path with the support of like minded individuals close at hand. This has not happened, but rather I furthered my awareness with books, and also took the experiences that I did have with likeminders (on various adventures) to help spur me on..

Curious as to other types of inspiration others have had, have been slowly immersing into meditation, and also, marijuana, mushrooms, and salvia, although I know drugs are not the answer, they do seem to open up new areas of thought, when used in the right circumstances, and time period. (when I'm out in nature, with no hurry)

Life is swell, hoping all is as well.

Well first of all lay off the drugs, you WILL regret it.

I always meet likeminded people when I am traveling, it is impossible for me not to. It is when I am standing in one place that I often find myself not really meeting anybody at all.

I agree with that, if used sporadically.

Nothing will dull your inspiration like regular use of weed though.

things only affect us as far as we let them...

as a medicinal user, and an artist, i couldnt disagree more.

as far as spirituality goes, said entheogens simply show you that there is more out there than meets the eye. spiritually, they are a very effective tool in showing you that you know nothing. I would never call them "recreational."

Finding people who are trying IS relatively difficult. I have found those who claim to be of like mind, but everything they believe simply fortifies their personality (aka programmed response, or ego).

edit: its also important to note that everyone is doing what they think is best for themselves, its the level of "self" they are dealing with that i identify with "like-mind."

creation as opposed to reaction
