I'll set the scene for you...

I'm back in Australia after working throughout Europe for ten months. I'm only here for a couple of months before I head back again, so am drifting between friends places and my folks place in the country, catching up with people and re-organising my life.

Obviously this time for me is reflection. What I've done this year, where I am in life, what I want next year, what I need etc etc. Decisions and goal setting.

This morning, I got up and went for a ride through the country. The sun is shining brilliantly and it is about 25 degrees with hardly any wind. Perfect.

I picked a route through some towns in a vague round trip that would take a couple of hours.

Powerful sports bike, open Australian countryside and me riding along with my thoughts. For me, this is spiritual...
