Thorn Tree Refugee |
Hi. It's going to be my first time in London. Is there someone here who could give me ideas on the best places to see and how much would it cost to go there? I will be with my aunt. We are both first time visitors of London. Please help. Thank you.

Anyway, I have found a very nice London guide, which gave me plenty of information to help us plan our trip. But, I will be happy to hear from you, too. |

If you're on a budget, there's tons of free stuff to do in London. On a nice day, definitely spend some time walking through the parks, maybe catch the changing of the guards if you're around Buckingham Palace.
All the museums in London are free. You can easily spend a day at the British Museum, not to mention the National Portrait Gallery and the Tate Modern across the river. Must-sees for a first-time visit really depend on what your interests are. But checking out the museums, walking around the neighborhoods, and browsing the markets (Portobello Road, Camden, etc.) is an excellent and cheap way to get a sense of what the city has to offer. BTW, BootsnAll has a really good London guide too. Check it out here. |

My aunt really wants to see the Buckingham Palace, even if we will not be near it.
