Yes, we did two of them last time we were in London.
We did the "Somewhere Else" tour, which took us around a part of London that is little changed from the industrial revolution (okay, the minor difference being that in the 18th century, it was cheap housing for workers, now it's expensive housing for rich people). That one was neat, really just a tour through a central London neighbourhood.
We also did one of their ghost tours...I think it was "Ghosts of the Old City." I was disapointed by that one, since the tour guide lacked the theatrical flair to make it fun...just ended up being a series of less than engaging stories.
They're definitely good value tours, and very informative. I'm a fan of walking tours generally, since I find them a much more engaging way of seeing a city than just picking a few points of interest that may be all over the place.
The Harry Potter tour looks like its gonna get me...but the walk through Jack the Ripper territory is too good to resist, thanks for the feedback, at least i know it is worthwhile....

Jack the Ripper tour is great. I lived in the area it tours through for 10 years and it taught me things i never knew. Get to see some pretty cool stuff that shows a different side to London

Been on tons of their tours. Their guides have all been great. I definitely recommend them!
I'd be hard pressed to pick a favorite. By and large,t eh guides I've walked with were very knowledgeable about London and had a bit of a theatrical flair going on top of that.
Note they also do some "Explorer Days" tours which are a great way to get out of London. I've done one of those, and the number of people who went was huge but the guide only lost one person! HA!
