I love history, art, architecture and character!! I love funky and ecclectic.

So fill me in and hook me up!! Horsie

Well, I'm no expert on London, but I really enjoyed staying in the area around Marble Arch. It's pretty heavy on immigrants, and presents a really interesting blend of cultures. Lots of things in that neighbourhood are printed in Arabic, but there's also neighbourhood pubs, which in turn serve Thai food. Anyway, I rather enjoyed it there. It's also just a couple of tube stops or a shortish walk from the west end theatre district, another area worth visiting.

My favorite is Bloomsbury , mainly because there are lots of students around from RADA as well as several other universities, which means lots of fun restaurants. There is also a lot of green space, and it has easy access to bus and tube stations. It's just a fun neighborhood that is close to everything, and has a very cool name. I've stayed there every time I've been to London and love the location!

Oh, and did I mention that the British Museum is here?

I'm back. It was a nice getaway, but really hard to come home afterwards. It just sparks desires to travel more and for much longer periods of time!
