We plan on arriving in Norwich at the beginning of May 2009. We are hoping to purchase a caravan to trip around in.
We were just looking on Ebay and found one that seemed perfect and right in our price bracket (ie cheap!). Obviously we don't want it yet, but we emailed the seller to express interest for if they don't sell now. They have replied and need to get rid of it by December.
IF we bought it.....is there anyone who could store a 22 foot caravan for four months? It's located in Bristol.
We'll never know if we don't ask! I keep thinking "What if we can't find a caravan when we arrive?" so it would be great to have one lined up.
If anyone does reply to this...clearly we would somehow have to vouch for each other's integrity....we can work that out.
Now I might just go and post this on couchsurfers too.

I don't know if it's the same in the Uk, but in Belgium there are companies who store caravans when you don't need them (most people will only use them for a couple of weeks in summer, so they have to park them somewhere the rest of the year if they don't have the space themselves). So you might want to look through the UK yellow pages if you don't find any volunteers. Of course you'd have to get them to agree to pick it up from the seller, but it's worth a shot.
