So it's my friends and I first time overseas and we're totally excited about visiting the UK area for 2 weeks this March.

We'll be spending a week traveling to Stratford-upon-Avon, Birmingham, Liverpool, Cardiff, Bath, Stonehenge, and Paris for a day and then spend the 2nd week in London.

I ultimately wanted to live here, but have been finding out that its basically impossible if youre an American.

So I was wondering, besides talking to the locals and trying to make friends in our short time here, what would be another way of making a connection?

Are any of your Grandparents Irish by chance? You could emigrate if that were the case.

Unfortunately no, I'm of Haitian decent, and while I'm over in Europe, I'm looking to trace my family history as well. My dad says his side of the family actually were from England, but our last name is French??
