I remember reading some time ago about a museum in London that had an entire section of an ancient Turkish building in it. I've looked again for the book and can't find it. Does anyone know what I'm talking about or am I just crazy?

I don't know so could only guess it would be the British museum - it's so massive that it takes at least 5 visits to take it all. I would have thought if this exists, it would have to be in there.

I agree with Welshcake, it must be the British Museum. Why don't you visit the website?
