Hello!

I will be in SOuth Africa for 3 months and sometime during my stay I would love to go up to Namibia. I'd like to go to Soussevlei (Don't think I spelled that right) and see the dunes, maybe Fish River Canyon as well. Does any one have any experience traveling from South Africa to Namibia? I won't have a car, so any estimates on how long it would take (from Cape Town) or the near area? Also, are there any buses/railroads that go up that way, I read once about some type of railroad, but I can't seem to find the article. Also the cheapest route would be the best for a student like myself. Thanks so much for all your help. Oh, also, which is the easiest way to get to Victoria Falls (once again, no car rental for me), any time approximation on that trip either? (There are two routes to see it via Zambia or Zimbabwe, correct?)Thanks again!

the trip on the nomad website go to 2008 trips on the left, click on camping and find the trip labeled "cape to vic falls" that is shorter than mine but i added on kruger for the additional days..trip ends in joburg not sure where the cape to vic falls ends

I'd love to know when are you planning on going? I booked the tour with Gecko originally but they cancelled on me and now i'm traveling and am stuck with no tour- my budget is also limited so maybe we can go together if the dates fits.

I will be in S.africa April 5 arriving in Johan and will make my way down to Cape town. I'd love to travel with someone to visit cape town to vic falls via namibia and botswana!

I'll be arriving in SA on May 4th and I will be around Cape Town until July 6th, at that period I'd only be able to travel on weekends or maybe meet up somewhere in Cape Town, but from July 6-31st I'll be traveling around and tahs when I want to go to Namibia etc. I'll PM you guys with this info in case you don't see this, but yeah hopefully we can all meet up, let me know when you will be there.
