Hi all

next July/August, at the start of our family year round the world (kids age 8 & 10), we will be taking 5 weeks in SA, starting n CT and ending in Joburg. We plan to use the Baz Bus, and I have been trying to work out the best stops, based on posts on this site, and then the most appropriate hostels. I've come up with some ideas and some blanks:

Cape Town ? better to rent an appt- c 5 days

Hermanus ?? 1 or 2 nights

George ?? 3 or 4 nights

Storms River tube n axe hostel, elevated tents, 4 nights

Port Elizabeth ??? (2 nights as this gives 1 day, based on BB times)

Coffee Bay coffee shack, 5 nights

Durban ??? appt perhaps?, (3 nights)

St Lucia 13.45, bibs hostel 5 nights

Sondzela, Swaziland, 5 nights, beehive huts

Joburg 1 night (then back 3 weeks later for 2 nites) ???

Realise there's a lot there, but does anyone have any info or advice on accommodation suitability/options, bearing in mind the kiddies. Really appreciate it!

Trip sounds fab, and I can't see anything there that will be a problem for the kids.

Concerning your time allotment, I would personally favour 1 or 2 more days in CT, at the expense of 1 or 2 in George.
