What major sports are being played in South Africa in October? I love seeing local matches whenever I'm traveling. Any recommendations? Also, I'm a woman traveling on my own so I'm assuming it's not the best idea to go solo -- in that case, any ideas on ways to join a group? The major cities I'll be in are Jo'burg/Pretoria, PE, and Cape Town, along with various places on the garden route.

As far as i know the Currie Cup will still be in progress... which is the rugby provincial cup, i would advise you support the Sharks... my team! Smile

Pity you aren't in SA at the moment... the World T20 Cup (a shorter version of the game of cricket) is being played here, which is very exciting to watch... go South Afria! Smile
