helloooo!
I will be in South Africa from May 2nd-July 31st, in the winter, just wondering what to expect as far as the weather goes during these months, do i need a heavy coat or maybe just a hoodie/sweater. I'm originally from Texas, but I'm living in New York now, so I have a somewhat high tolerance...anyways, any suggestions? thanks! Janelle |

South African Trekking the World |
May is still beautiful in most parts of south africa.
Cape Town will be cool and wet probably, it often gets blustery winds there in winter Jo'berg and the interior will be cold and dry, later in winter they often gets frost and light snow. durban/kwazulu natal will be mild, perhaps a light sweater is needed. (but natal seldom gets cold and it only snows in the mountains) May is a beautiful time of year , enjoy!
