My brother is heading to Cape Town in February for a semester abroad. I was curious if anyone has done this. Curious to know what the visa process was. Also wanted to know what the observatory area is like, food, nightlife, safety, etc...Any other info regarding the University of Cape Town would be helpful as well.

UCT (university of cape town) is one of the best universities in SA with an excellent student life... i have a few friends who attended UCT and absolutely loved it! check out their website website for more details

All I can say is that I've heard UCT is a good school. Cape is certainly a great city. I'm jealous. I would almost move there tomorrow if I could.
