I've just stumbled on this new South African innovation that uses mobile technology to provide tourists with a unique audio-visual tourism experience.
The Mobiguide , a multimedia mobile application that functions as a virtual tour guide, is a technological first for Africa as it combines national archive footage, images, local music and audio in a series of tourism related clips.
