I am interested in Overland trips in my own Landie. My trip which is still in the planning stage would be Belfast to Italy, boat to Turkey then Iran (Silk road) to Turkmenistan,Uzbekistan,Krygystan to Kashgar or the Chinese border if they stop you there.I do not plan to make china part of this trip. I would head back thru Krygystan,Kazakstan and Via Russia(not finalised yet).
What I am having trouble finding out is do these countries after Iran reconise the Carnet de Passage documents. Anyone out there who has driven a UK registered vehicle thru this part of the world or know of someone I can talk to ?????
