Is there enough to see for two days (includes overnight) in Giza or should I stay in Cairo? Also my plane leaves Cairo at 3:50 am...any suggestions for that time from 10 pm til going to the airport advice or should I just hang in the airport after dinner? Does nyone have any current stay advice with the hostels in Cairo???? thanks

I wouldn't stay in Giza. It's easy enough to get to Giza from Cairo (just a short cab ride), and besides seeing the historical sights there isn't much to do in Giza. I think it can be done in one day. Also, in the evening, it's much better to be in Cairo to get food, wander around (the streets get packed after the sun goes down), etc.
I also had a middle of the night airplane trip, but I can't remember what I did to pass the time. I didn't have good luck with the places I stayed in Cairo, so I won't make a recommendation there. Good luck! |
