Holds PhD in Packing

Does anyone have any info on traveling from South Africa to Mozambique? Do you need a visa? Can you get that visa in Johannesburg? What can you do in Mozambique? I have roughly a month in South Africa and was thinking of doing J'burg, Safari, and then either heading south to cape town or heading north and doing Swaziland and then Mozambique.

You can get a visa at the border post. There are buses from Jo'burg to maputo but the area around maputo is not so hot. Further North is fantastic! only problem is transport. We went there last year and the roads were horrendous and the local domestic buses did not look much better.
If you decide to go south, you will pass through Durban...pop in for a beer
