When I was there in January, I didn't get the shot, but I realized I probably should have. According to to Promed (which monitors worldwide disease outbreaks), there are yellow fever outbreaks in that area now (http://www.promedmail.org/pls/otn/f?p=2400:1000
 You're going to want to take mosquito precautions no matter what, though, because there is a lot of dengue in that region. I don't know the specifics on where to get the shot though.
