We would like not to miss the drive on the Careterra Austral, it seems that there are two options
1/ rent a car in Punta Arenas and drive to Puerto Montt (am not sure if any car rental agency will allow us one way w/o charging steep drop off fees) or 2/ take the bus from Punta Arenas to Puerto Montt Has anyone do this, would you recommend it? If by bus- do they make stops along the way to enjoy the scenery for even short periods? thanks again |
